We have a limited edition of Ki Kefir starter kits to get you on the way with making your own kefir. The kit includes 15g of organic kefir grains straight from the Ki fermented & have grown directly from Ki's Kefir production. Our grains are nurtured using only the finest organic cow's milk from grass fed cows at Hook & Sons farm. We also only use glass to ferment our kefir in too!

The kit includes: 15g of Organic & Live Ki grains (choice of fresh or dehydrated depending on your needs), nylon sieve, muslin cloth, glass jar & wooden spoon.

Once your kefir is set up and fermenting, your grains will continue to multiply & multiply so you can share them with your family & friends. Full instructions will be sent along with your grains to share our tips & tricks we have learnt along the way.

Please select fresh grains if you are ready to go right away with your kefir making, or dehydrated grains if you wish to store or gift the kit. Please note the dehydrated grains will take several batches before they are ready to ferment, after this point they work like our normal fresh grains. Our fresh grains need to be stored in the fridge if not being used right away, our dehydrated grains can be stored at an ambient temperature.

The 15g of grains arrived looking fresh and active, and my first batch of kefir came out thick and tangy in under 48 hours. The instructions were clear enough that I didn’t have to Google anything, which never happens for me.

I was a little nervous about keeping the grains alive, but the 15g portion in this kit was plenty to get a strong first ferment going. The kefir came out thick and tangy, exactly how I like it, and the grains have already multiplied for my next batch.

David ★★★★★

My first batch was ready in about 36 hours and the texture came out perfectly thick, no need for any extra straining. The grains themselves are really alive and active, they've already doubled in size after just a few brews.
